Growing up here in Buffalo, you’ll often hear about famous waterfalls that are nearby like Niagara Falls, of course, and even other epic gems like Eternal Flame Falls right here in Erie County. When you stop to take a look around and see what other noteworthy waterfalls are within a quick drive of the Queen City, you’ll also see that there are quite a few other natural wonders that you’ll want to be sure you’ve checked off of your list. Only an hour away from Buffalo, the small town of Holley in Orleans County is home to a quaint little park.
The park is brimming with paved trails that are always well taken care of. You'll find families from all around Western New York enjoying all that the park has to offer.
A waterfall! Holley Canal Falls is slightly deceiving, while the falls may look like your typical New York natural wonder — this one is actually man-made.
Now a wonderful park has been created around the falls, with plenty of shaded areas, picnic tables, shelters, and spots where you can relax for the day.
