Always on the lookout for the most head-turning places to dine, today here at Only In Buffalo we’re prepared to show you a cafe that’s simply unlike any other that you’ll discover here in our city. A place where you’ll feel right at home, it’s time to highlight once again how deliciously good it is to visit Elmwood Avenue here in Erie County. Take a look for yourself!
Head on over to Elmwood Avenue to look for a set of Wes Anderson-like pink doors and before you know it, you’ll be surrounded by the pure chicness that is Root & Bloom in Buffalo.
A delicious business that started back in 2016, Root & Bloom now resides in an inconspicuous brick building on Elmwood Avenue that will instantly make you feel right at home. Just look at all those comfy pillows!
If you’ve never popped into Root & Bloom, you’ll be able to explore dishes on their menu that feature things like slow-roasted jackfruit wings, cultured mac, fried tostadas with ranchero sauce...
Just when you thought this little cafe couldn’t get any more delicious or cozy, it’s at this moment that you’ll end up discovering their drink menus. You can even order up a drink called Buddy the Elf that's a Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate — yum!
If you happen to be someone who prefers to sip on milkshakes, they have those too — made with things like peppermint mocha, ice cream, whipped cream, apple pie filling, oat crumble, and so much more.
While on their food menu you'll be able to drool over things like their einkorn pancakes topped with house-made sweet butter and cornbread Belgium waffles. So tasty!
