In the fall, though, it is an amazing destination for some of the ripest pumpkins in the state. They even offer haunted hayrides! 2. The Great Pumpkin Farm - Clarence

The Great Pumpkin Farm goes all the way back to 1996, and has even been in the Guinness World Book of Records for creating the first 1,000 pound pumpkin. The festival now is full of all sorts of attractions, from events to rides to attractions. It’s a must-stop for visitors near the town of Clarence. Located near Albany, Sunnyside Gardens is an award winning garden center whose fall pumpkin patch is fun for the whole family. Beyond the patch, the gardens also offers up hay rides, live music and a lot more. Their current hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. 5. Abbott Farms - Baldwinsville

This fall at Abbott Farms, pick apples and pumpkins alike for a great price, and enjoy a variety of photo ops. It’s worth making the trip to the town of Baldwinsville.
