As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
In years past, TIME Magazine has named Hotel Henry as one of the best hotels in the world, shining a light on the wonderful accommodations travelers and locals alike have available to them here in the Queen City. This isn’t the only grand hotel that’s worth staying at though, and if you’ve already crossed the hotel off of your bucket list, you’re probably wondering where else is worth staying in Buffalo. Right in the heart of one of our favorite neighborhoods, discover why an overnight stay at InnBuffalo will take you back in time.
Over on Lafayette Avenue, InnBuffalo is situated right in the heart of Elmwood Village.
Built back in 1898, InnBuffalo was formerly the Hewitt Mansion, which was left rundown for years until a million dollar renovation brought this historic home back to life.
Throughout its years of abandonment and renovations, the home has still managed to keep many of its original features and details that give this place such a delightful charm.
Like we said, each room is different, but some amenities you can expect to find within this inn are heated marble bathroom floors, flat screen TVs, Keurig coffeemakers, bear claw bathtubs, or even an enclosed shower.
When you're not cozied up in your room though, you'll want to head downstairs to the dining room to learn for yourself why everyone raves about the food here - with continental breakfast included with your stay.
Other areas like the inn's library will pull you out of bed so that you can surround yourself with beautifully carved wood decor, vintage furniture, and all other things that will take you back in time in the best way possible.
InnBuffalo is located on 619 Lafayette Ave., Buffalo, NY 14222 and is open all throughout the year. To find out more and to book your stay, click here.
