Surrounded by not one but TWO Great Lakes, those of us who live in Western New York know better than most that our region truly comes to life during the summertime. Some of the lakefront towns that dot the shoreline are the definition of summer fun, and today, we’re visiting one of the most charming. Head just 40 minutes north of Buffalo to the edge of Lake Ontario to visit this delightful village of shops that’s worthy of a road trip.
There’s nothing better than a sunny day in Western New York, and one of the best places to spend such a day is in the small town of Olcott.
Located along the shore of Lake Ontario, this lovely little town offers some magnificent views of the lake and a delightful shopping village known as the Lakeview Village Shoppes.
While you should certainly stop by and pick out a few things to decorate your home and wardrobe, these shops are by no means the only awesome attractions in the Lakeview Village Shoppes.
Lakeview Village Shoppes is also known to feature live music, wine tastings, and an excellent farmers market that sets up shop from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday nights between May 31st and August 30th.
You definitely don't want to pass up making the drive to Olcott this summer!
