Here in Buffalo, one of our favorite sayings to live by is that if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it! While we love keeping an eye out for the city’s newest and upcoming attractions, some of our most beloved places to visit are ones that have been around for more than a lifetime. Leading you to destinations that will fill you with nostalgia, check out our list of amazing places to visit in the Queen City because they’ll never, ever change.

First lit back in 1833, the Buffalo Main Light's surrounding scenery may have changed over the years as the city's continued to grow, but the lighthouse itself and the gorgeous waterfront views will long remain the same. Buffalo's charming lighthouse has been on the National Registor of Historic Places since 1987, and continues to draw in visitors from all over the Queen City and beyond.
From the nostalgic pictures on the wall to the generations of Buffalonians that have been seen visiting this bar, Ulrich's Tavern has been around in the Queen City since 1868. Considered to be the oldest bar in Buffalo, Ulrich's has a rustic atmosphere and features authentic German eats on their wonderful menu that are loved by all.
While shopping around The Broadway Market, you can feel every inch of the history that lies within this place. Operating here in Buffalo since 1888, the vendors inside of the market may come and go, but aside from that, this fantastic marketplace has always remained the same. An amazing place to visit during the holidays, we don't see this attraction closing its doors anytime soon!
The slight wear and tear on Parkside Candy's exterior may be an initial indication that this shop will never change, but once you step inside this charming candy shop you'll truly be able to tell just how nostalgic it is. Parkside Candy has been serving Buffalonians sponge candy since 1927, and to this day remains a classic old-school ice cream and candy shop.
Part of Buffalo's historic Polonia District on the east side, the St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Roman Catholic Church is a sight to be seen. The history of this gorgeous church dates all the way back to the spring of 1873, filled with immense detail and architectural beauty that will knock you off of your feet.
Open since 1933, Mazurek's Bakery is the last remaining old-time Polish bakery in Buffalo and not much has changed since this shop began operating in the Queen City! Making delicious and fresh Polish pastries that are bound to have your mouth watering, Mazurek's is a place you can surely count on to never change.
Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux back in 1868, Delaware Park is our favorite historic park to visit here in Buffalo. Made up of over 300 acres, generations of Buffalonians have visited Delaware Park and it's not hard to see why. Equipped with timeless attractions and stunning views, it's always a good idea to make a visit this this little slice of Buffalo.
