1. Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum
Over on Michigan Avenue, the Pierce Arrow Museum showcases a variety of means of transportation. Inside the museum, you’ll see everything from vintage cars to newer Teslas that will leave anyone amazed. One of the many exciting exhibits at the museum is the Frank Lloyd Wright filling station, an idea that never actually came to be in the late 1920s, but was constructed in 2002 at the museum after rights to the drawings and to build the station was obtained. An exciting piece of history that we get to have right in our backyard, the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site can be found right over on Delaware Avenue. The historic site preserves the Ansley Wilcox House, where Theodore Roosevelt took his oath of office as the President of the United States in the fall of 1901. Outside the home you’ll see a historical marker, but inside is where you can find the real magic of this place.
