Now that we’ve fully embraced the fall season here in Buffalo and Halloween is just around the corner, we have pumpkins on our mind! Great for both decorating and eating, pumpkins are one of our favorite parts of this time of year. You may see these gourds for sale or even already decorated for you at your local grocery stores and other places, but if you’re looking to go shopping for pumpkins, there’s no better place to look than Western New York’s very own pumpkin wonderland.
Only 30 minutes outside of Buffalo in the small town of Clarence, The Great Pumpkin Farm is an easy day trip to take within Erie County.
This place is a true pumpkin wonderland - The Great Pumpkin Farm even advertises that there are literally zillions of them here for you to choose from.
During the festivities, you can expect things like cow train rides, zombie trains, contests, rides, and food vendors available to you at your fingertips.
With zillions of pumpkins, freshly-made cider donuts, apple cider, pumpkin pies, cookies, pastries, and fun attractions like hayrides, train rides, corn mazes, and more - how could you even think about turning down a day trip to The Great Pumpkin Farm?! There's even a Halloween store that has handcrafted items and Halloween decorations that make for great gifts to take home with you. We can't help but smile when we realize how close we live to this pumpkin wonderland.
The Great Pumpkin Farm is located at 11199 Main St., Clarence, NY 14031 and is open daily from 10 a.m. to dusk through October 31st. For more information about this pumpkin wonderland, visit their website here.
