During Buffalo’s fall season, you’ll find plenty of ways to get out and enjoy the foliage while it’s here. Out of all the different ways that you can enjoy these seasonal views though, one of our favorites is to go for a hike through the woods. Putting you in the center of our breathtaking autumnal sights, see why there’s no better trail to explore than this one just south of the city.
Exactly 80-miles south of Buffalo, this fall you'll want to take the scenic drive down to the Three Sisters Trailhead.
Inside the more than 60,000-acre Allegany State Park, you'll find the Quaker Area that's made up of enchanting hiking trails, Quaker Lake, Bear Caves...
While you may not be doing any strenuous trekking to the top of a large mountain, the trail is one that's known to be slightly tricky to navigate due to all the rocky areas and roots that stick out along the way. So, be sure to keep an eye out while those colorful fall leaves are coating the trail!
Taking you away from Quaker Lake and out into the vibrant forest, you'll be happy to have found your ultimate fall oasis while hiking through the southwestern area of Allegany State Park.
