Located Canalside, where you're right near the city's marvelous riverfront, Explore & More, The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum, is one of our absolute favorite family-friendly attractions to visit in Buffalo.

For those who have never had the pleasure of visiting this attraction, Explore & More is made up of seven play zones...

...and three exciting educational studios that will show your family a fun side of Western New York.

As you and your family explore the museum, you’ll be able to discover how each zone tells a unique story of our region, whether it be relating to history, geography, culture, agriculture, architecture, athletics, commerce or innovation.

Plus, all throughout the museum you'll find child-led exhibits that even the littlest of visitors will be eager to get their hands on.

The multi-floor museum will leave you full of excitement, as you go from one room to the next with your family exploring and having fun all while you're learning.

As much as we love the Being Good Neighbors, Moving Water, Playing Together, Lighting Buffalo’s Imagination, Building Buffalo, Farm To Fork, and Rooftop Terrace exhibits, there’s one recent addition to the museum that we’ve all been quite excited about.

Aside from the new Super Service Auto Center and West Side Bazaar Market exhibits, Explore & More has recently unveiled their new Community Treehouse. Dreamy, huh?

Unlike many of the treehouses you'll generally stumble upon, the Explore & More Treehouse is focused on being inclusive and able to accommodate those who have disabilities - with a lift that provides access to the second floor.

Highlighting Western New York's amazing woodland scenery, the treehouse exhibit is one of the three newest exhibits to open up in February of 2020 that's quickly been gaining attention from Buffalonians.
