As residents of the city of Buffalo, we’re never too far away from major natural wonders like Western New York’s waterfalls. While jaw-dropping destinations like Eternal Flame Falls may be right nearby, the actual trek it takes to reach the falls is a trail that isn’t necessarily for everyone. If you’re looking to discover a stunning waterfall without having to do any strenuous work, then take a look at how you can practically drive right up to Shequaga Falls.
Just over two hours from Buffalo, locals of Western New York can make the scenic drive out to Schuyler County to experience a waterfall that's slightly unusual.
While most of New York's waterfalls take some adventuring to get to, Shequaga Falls happens to sit right behind the town's colonial houses and buildings.
Cascading down more than 160 feet, Shequaga Falls has its own little park leading up to it where you can walk right up and enjoy the view of this massive waterfall.
If you've yet to see this breathtaking natural wonder of Schuyler County, then be sure to make the scenic drive out to Shequaga Falls for a quick, easy-going adventure.
