The city of Buffalo has plenty of gorgeous nature trails that you can explore, leading you out to the waterfront and other secluded areas of Erie County. Today though, we’ve discovered a unique little hike that’s unlike anything we have in our backyard, and more than worth the quick trip it takes to get here. Taking you through a tunnel and giving you the chance to go chasing after waterfalls, this trail is guaranteed to provide you with a memorable outdoor adventure.
Only an hour east of us, Corbett's Glen Nature Park is a charming little park out in Monroe County.
Walk through the old railroad bridge tunnel to hear the echoing roar of Tunnel Falls and to experience and out-of-town adventure that's worth venturing to.
Something you won't want to forget? Your camera! With so many scenic sights and a picturesque tunnel like this, you'll surely want to remember to snap some pictures.
Once you're out of the tunnel, you'll find plenty of areas along the creekfront where you can stop and enjoy the view of the falls and the other end of the tunnel.
It's open every day of the week, so make the scenic drive out to Penfield Road in Rochester to see what it's like to hike through Corbett's Glen Nature Park and Tunnel Falls.
