When we find ourselves in the midst of seasons that don’t involve our streets being blocked by sky-high mounds of snow, we like to hit the road as much as possible. While exploring all Western New York has to offer, you’ll find plenty of noteworthy attractions and destinations that will draw you away from Downtown Buffalo. If you’re anxious to go for a scenic drive that will lead you to someplace downright delicious, look an hour east of the city to this one charming little bakery that you absolutely must visit.
Just east of Buffalo, the small town of Geneseo is hiding a tasty destination in plain sight.
Geneseo has one of our favorite Main Streets to explore in New York, and you can find just about anything you could possibly need, but Sweet Arts Bakery is absolutely the cherry on top.
The rustic country bakery will make you feel like you've stepped into a darling farmhouse, featuring aromas that will make any stomach rumble with excitement.
Sweet Arts Bakery has become the talk of the town due to their mouthwatering array of freshly-made breads, quiches, stuffed breads, bagels, soups, cake pops, and so much more.
When you stop by Sweet Arts, you’ll see people nibbling away at everything from blueberry muffins and brownies to peanut butter cookies, scones, and New York Crumb Cake.
Sweet Arts Bakery has something known as "The Bear," a three-pound cinnamon roll that you can have specially made if you give them at least 48 hours notice.
It’s a warm cinnamon roll with its center removed and filled with ice cream and caramel. Yum!
