There are many things that come along with the holiday season here in Buffalo and shopping happens to be one of these elements that’s simply inevitable. Whether you’re in need of decorations and ways to add some holiday cheer to your home or you’re searching for some gifts for your friends and family, there’s one house-sized store outside of the Queen City that’s worth making the trip out to. See for yourself!
South of Buffalo and out along New York's Southern Tier, The Christmas House has long been known as one of the best places to shop during the holiday season.
Set inside a unique home, The Christmas House is actually a historic Victorian home that dates back to 1894 and happens to be known for sporting 16 different paint colors on its exterior.
Stocking fuzzy items like slippers and scarves to locally-made goods that any Buffalonian will appreciate, this Christmas home has a little bit of it all.
Over the years, people from all over have begun to make the drive out to the epic holiday store that has its own Christmas Village collection that will stop you in your tracks.
Hours:
October 1 - November 27: Daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
November 28: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
November 29: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
November 30 - December 23: Weekdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. & Weekends 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
December 24: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
December 26 - Close: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
