Buffalo Harbor State Park was first created in 2014, opened to the public in 2015, and is currently undergoing a massive, multi-million dollar transformation set to be completed in 2020. With so many changes to come, you’ll want to visit this phenomenal state park again and again to witness the reinvigoration of the Buffalo Harbor waterfront.
The park is home to a 1,100 slip marina, boat launches, a fish cleaning station, picnic pavilions, and a nautical-themed playground your kids will love.
Complete with classic playground equipment like swings and slides as well as climbing walls and other unique offerings designed for creative play, the Buffalo Harbor State Park Playground will become a family favorite for picnics and letting the kids burn some of their energy.
Miles and miles of paved paths perfect for walking, jogging, and bicycling make this park a destination for anyone who wants to connect with nature and experience the Lake Erie waterfront without leaving Buffalo's city limits.
