The biggest cities around the state of New York generally aren’t the first places that you think of when it comes to going hiking, but those of us who have grown up here in Buffalo know that the Queen City is home to some pretty spectacular and scenic strolls. Bringing you right near the Outer Harbor, the gorgeous and historic Tifft Nature Preserve is home to our city’s most wonderful hiking trail.
Easy to find out by the water in Buffalo, the Tifft Nature Preserve instantly greets visitors with unique views and overlooks.
The beauty continues if you choose to explore and hike out along the 0.5-mile long Boardwalk Trail that leads you to scenic spots like the Marsh Observation Mound and the Viewing Blind.
Tifft Nature Preserve is located at 1200 Fuhrmann Blvd., Buffalo, NY 14203 and is open all throughout the year. To find more information about the preserve, click here.
