Roughly an hour and a half east of the city of Buffalo, there's a small town out in Seneca County that's the inspiration behind Bedford Falls.
Like something straight out of the film It's A Wonderful Life, Seneca Falls will make you feel as though you're exploring the small town from this iconic movie.
Beginning December 13, 2019, you'll find a weekend-long event happening in Seneca Falls to celebrate the town's history and the fact that it has such a close connection to the beloved holiday movie.
Throughout the weekend, you'll find all sorts of exciting activities taking place all around town, like free horse-drawn carriage rides over at the corner of Fall and State Streets.
Familiar attractions like the It's A Wonderful Life Museum will also be open and featuring all sorts of special events in town throughout the duration of the festival.
To end this weekend-long festival on a high note, those who attend the festivities can end their evenings with bonfires and tree lighting ceremonies that will charm you to your core.
