As one of the best foodie cities in New York, Buffalo’s food scene is always making our stomachs rumble. Over the years, we’ve shared some of our favorite places to visit when we find ourselves feeling hungry – specifically when it comes to authentic eats. For delicious and authentic Polish pastries, you can head on over to Mazurek’s Bakery to enjoy something sweet, but if you’re looking to feast on something that’s more savory, you’ll want to check out what’s waiting for you on Franklin Street. A restaurant that’s the very definition of finger-licking good, it’s time to see what’s inside The Crabman in Buffalo.
Located in what was formerly Rue Franklin, 321 Franklin Street is now home to The Crabman.
Once you sit down and being to give the menu a look, you'll find appetizers like hush puppies, edamame, fried okra, fries, fried crab sticks, and wings available to order.
So, here's how this works: Step 1 is to pick your seafood, where you’ll choose from clams, Snow Crab legs, King Crab legs, Dungeness Crab, mussels, crawfish, shrimp, lobster, and lobster tail.
Next up is to choose your sauce, where your options are lemon pepper, Cajun, garlic butter, or the House Special with all sauces combined.
You can also order no sauce at all if you prefer. The final step is to pick your level of spice - mild, medium, spicy, or fire. Woah... so tasty.
This is a great spot to celebrate special occasions like birthdays. Spoil someone with a New York or Strawberry Swirl cheesecake and the chance to wear a birthday crab crown!
