Only an hour north of Buffalo, you can discover a city in the state of New York that’s become quite famous to everyone around the world. Thanks to the jaw-dropping waterfalls and historic state park, Niagara Falls has become a destination that truly everyone knows about. Thankfully for us who live in the Queen City, we’re well aware of the fact that this area has more to offer than major tourist attractions. If you’re ready to see what else awaits you in Niagara Falls, then it’s time to go for a stroll to see why this area is so unique.
After you've explored all of the city's most famous attractions and you're ready to wind things down a bit, you'll want to head over to Third Street in Niagara Falls.
An attraction that's only popped up in Niagara Falls within the last couple of years, the Third Street Art Alley is a truly unique place to visit here in Western New York.
Unlike anything else near Buffalo or in this area of the Empire State, Third Street Art Alley is exactly what it sounds like - an outdoor art gallery that makes for a wonderful place to go for a stroll.
After the empty space between the buildings on Third Street was long blocked by a small concrete wall, the area was opened up to create the most artistic alleyway in Western New York.
Connecting the public parking lot on Fourth Street to the exciting and wonderful businesses on Third Street, the Art Alley gives local artists an exciting way to showcase their work to residents and tourists alike.
As you look around the walls and see all the different art on display, you'll notice that there are lights strewn about overhead - making it so you can enjoy the art even once the sun goes down.
