As COVID-19 continues to make its way throughout the state of New York and Buffalo as well, you’ll find many things that have changed as a direct result of the pandemic – one of the most obvious changes being the fact that all of our local attractions have temporarily closed to the public. If you’re finding yourself coming down with a bit of cabin fever, then fight off the chills by watching these free live streams over on the Aquarium of Niagara’s Facebook page.
One of our favorite family-friendly attractions that exist here in Western New York, the Aquarium of Niagara is usually only a quick drive away from the city of Buffalo.
While our residents may not currently be able to step foot inside of the Aquarium of Niagara, that doesn't quite mean that you have to bid farewell to all of the friendly faces that call this place home!
With over 1,500 animals, 200 different species, and more than 40 exhibits, the Aquarium of Niagara has figured out a fun way to keep Western New Yorkers engaged during these times.
If you head on over to the official Facebook page for the Aquarium of Niagara, usually at around 2 p.m. each day you can see staff members live streaming for all to see.
With the engaging and fun live stream for anyone in Western New York and beyond to enjoy, Buffalonians can chime in and interact with the aquarium’s staff through comments right as the live stream is happening.
Highlighting a different area of the aquarium each day, so far the aquarium has live-streamed the trainers with the sea lions, talking with the penguins, and even feeding the sharks!
If you're ready to participate in these daily live streams that the Aquarium of Niagara is currently hosting, then be sure to follow their official Facebook page.
