Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, Gov Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, Grand View-On-Hudson, NY, USA
The Tappan Zee Bridge is special because it's the longest bridge in New York. Officially named the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, it's three miles in length. It's a gorgeous sight, particularly at night when it's all lit up. From the bridge, you get stunning views of the Hudson River.

We couldn't do a list of bridges in New York without including one covered bridge. The Downsville Bridge dates back to 1854, though it was extensively restored in 1998. We included it on a list of our favorite covered bridges in New York.

Walkway Over the Hudson, Highland, NY, USA
The Walkway Over the Hudson is one of the most unique attractions in New York. Also known as the Poughkeepsie Bridge, it's the world's largest pedestrian bridge over water. The views are magnificent and it's a great 1.28-mile walk!

Fall Creek Drive, Fall Creek Dr, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA
This one is not for the faint of heart! Located on Cornell's campus, the Fall Creek Suspension Bridge is 140 feet above ground. It's got beautiful views of several waterfalls and the Fall Creek Gorge. The bridge's bounces and sways may have your stomach churning, but we promise the vantage point is worth it.

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the greatest man made wonders of all time. This six-lane bridge is an icon of New York City that is prominently featured on souvenirs. It carries more than 100,000 cars a day, but is also open for pedestrian usage.
