With spring having officially arrived here in New York, as you look around our state and speak with our residents, you may find that we have our beautiful gardens on the brain. Anxious to see our floral landscapes and the work of Mother Nature, New Yorkers everywhere are itching to get their eyes on something scenic. Well, if you’re ready to see what other wonderful gems await you with the arrival of springtime, then it’s time to set your sights on these upcoming watch parties that one of our favorite botanical gardens will be hosting. Take a look!
While the state of New York continues to do all that it can to get the current COVID-19 pandemic on lock-down, many of our favorite attractions currently find themselves temporarily closed.
Thankfully for us, our favorite businesses and attractions have been working around the clock to find ways to still keep New Yorkers entertained as we find ourselves stuck indoors.
Recently, the New York Botanical Garden hosted their own Orchid Show Tour Watch Party and while that event may have already passed on Facebook, it’s not the only watch party that the gardens are planning to host!
Revisiting one of the garden's most memorable live performances, during this Facebook Watch Party you'll be able to virtually experience the work of composer Angelica Negron.
An immersive experience that's performed along a half-mile of trails in the garden's old-growth forest, you'll instantly be transported to the New York Botanical Gardens through the sound and sight of the Chorus of the Forest.
