One downside to modern life is that it’s easy to become disconnected from nature and where your food comes from. Many children that grow up in the city rarely, if ever, come in contact with farm animals. It’s easy to fall into the mindset that food just appears on a grocery store shelf; like magic, ice cream will materialize in the blink of an eye. One farm in New York that’s looking to dispel such notions is Bellvale Farms Creamery. They produce incredible ice cream and have amazing views and you’re even able to see the cows that the cream comes from!
Incredibly, Bellvale Farms has been family-owned since 1819. The farm has been through seven generations of owners during that time.
Bellvale's ice cream is legendary for its fantastic taste. They have so many fantastic flavors that you can enjoy in a sundae, cup, or homemade waffle cone.
You can smell their baking waffle cones as soon as you get near! You can't get much fresher than this, and their website even has photos and names of their Jersey cows!
While ice cream is great at any time of day, you really can't beat an after-dinner visit. You can admire the sunset while you chow down on your tasty frozen treats!
