There’s nothing like traveling through New York’s countryside by train. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the state’s most beautiful scenery, and with the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, you can do it while enjoying a bottle of beer or glass of wine. Check out the Beer & WineTrain!
The Adirondack Scenic Railroad hosts several train rides throughout the year, but one of its most popular rides is the Beer & Wine Train. Hop aboard this special train for two dates in October, 2018: the 12th and 26th.
You'll depart from Utica's beautifully-restored train station at Boehlert Transportation Center, 321 Main St., Utica, NY 13501. The train leaves right at 6:30 p.m., so don't be late!
Adirondack Scenic Railroad wants to make sure all its passengers are safe. If you bring a designated driver with you, that person receives $10 off the ticket price. They'll get a hand stamp and won't be allowed to purchase beer or wine, but will enjoy free soda, water and snacks.
