The city of New York is immensely famous. So famous, in fact, that many people fail to realize that the rest of the state is just as awe-inspiring as that city, but for completely different reasons. While New York City has famous skyscrapers and big media names, just outside of that concrete jungle you’ll find a breathtaking wilderness of trees and lakes waiting to be enjoyed. Visit beautiful Lake George while staying in one its nicest boutique hotels, Boathouse Waterfront Lodging.
Boathouse Waterfront Lodging has seven fully-appointed rooms that accommodate two people each.
The rooms with balconies are highly sought-after, and for good reason. You'll get out of bed and walk right outside to watch the sunrise over the Adirondacks shine down on beautiful Lake George.

If you are a boat fanatic, a hobbyist, or just enjoy coasting across the waves of big bodies of water sometimes, this is an excellent place for you. Lake George is well known for its boating accommodations and culture. Like most of the residences on the lake, the Boathouse Waterfront Lodging was built by a boat-lover, and is now owned by boat-lovers.

The house was built in 1917 as the ultimate boating getaway.
The original owner, George Reis, bought the property because he spent many summers enjoying the lake in his youth. As a grown man, he was an avid speedboat racer and won the Gold Cup three years in a row! Eventually, the house was purchased by Joe and Patti Silipigno, who updated the residence with modern amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Every room has a queen or king-sized bed. There are also gas fireplaces, microwaves, refrigerators, and personal bathrooms. The walk-in showers are state-of-the-art, and some rooms even have whirlpool tubs for when you really want to relax.
Boathouse Waterfront Lodging is on the beach of the town of Bolton Landing, so visitors are within easy walking distance of some incredible shopping and dining options. The lodge’s location also gives guests access to the Sagamore resort, which includes an 18-hole golf course and gourmet restaurants like The Club Grill and La Bella Vita.
Don’t forget to enjoy all that nature around you.
