There aren’t too many things in New York that are better than going for a casual scenic drive and stumbling upon a charming barn on the side of the road. One of the things that does happen to be better than this though, is stumbling upon a charming barn and then finding out that there’s a mouthwatering steakhouse inside of it. Talk about yummy! Taking you out to a secluded piece of Saratoga County, find out why we can’t stop revisiting this delicious restaurant.
Less than a half-hour west of Saratoga Springs just before you reach the southern shores of Great Sacandaga Lake, there's a historic barn right off the road that will grab your attention.
Dating back to the 1850s, the historic dairy barn has been transformed into a glorious steakhouse that will make your taste buds jump out of their seats.
The barn has undergone renovations but has maintained much of the barn's original bones, with each piece of decor hanging in The Cock 'n Bull Restaurant having its own story to tell.
With such a gorgeous post-and-beam barn like this, The Cock 'n Bull Restaurant makes for the best place to enjoy live music that's regularly featured here at the steakhouse.
For over 40-years, this restaurant has been serving up juicy steaks that keep locals and out-of-town customers revisiting this tasty place time and time again.
Using products from local farmers and even their own garden, you'll love the savory farm-to-table style menu that's waiting for you here in this charming barn.
If you're curious what the barn originally looked like, you can see two different paintings hanging in the dining room that were done by local artists in Galway, showing what the barn looked like back in 1975. To view The Cock 'n Bull Restaurant's amazing menu click here.
