Tucked away down in the Hudson Valley, you can find plenty of small-town attractions that are hiding in plain sight – one of our favorites being a finger-licking good bakery in Sullivan County. Right on Main Street in the middle of town, it’s time you see why the pastries and baked goods from this one shop will transport you across the ocean.
Located down in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the small town of Livingston Manor has a delicious German bakery that you’ll love.
Owned and operated by a married couple, wife Sarah Flynn was actually trained in Germany as a pastry baker - bringing a touch of Deutschland to the Empire State.
Nearly everything that you’ll find on Brandenburg Bakery’s menu are created from traditional German recipes or family recipes that have been passed down from previous generations.
As far as breads go, you’ll find things like Heavy German Rye, Butter Pretzels, Sweet Easter Bread, Ciabatta, Sourdough Baguettes, and more being made in the bakery on a regular basis.
The bakery also specializes in creating decadent cakes like Black Forest Cake, Brownie Cheese Cake, Strawberry Mousse Cake, Beehive Cake, Tiramisu, and other amazing varieties.
With shelves stocked full of delicious snacks for you to take home and display cases full of amazing cakes and pastries, you'll have a hard time resisting the urge to try a little bit of everything in this bakery.
