Tucked away in New York’s Hudson Valley, Westtown Fare specializes in farm-to-table cuisine. Over the last few years, they've made a tradition of using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create some truly unique dishes.

After growing tired of working for others in the restaurant business, Stephen and Kristina Ernst purchased the restaurant formerly called The Folderol in 2014 and began to transform the place with their own vision for an original restaurant.

The restaurant partners with a number of regional farms in the area, including Bracco Farms, Dagele Farms, and Sweetman’s Farm. They also partner with Soons Orchard, Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery, Northern Farmhouse Pasta, and Noble Coffee.

Westtown Fare features an ever-changing lineup of specialties, from sauteed scallops to seafood stew.

They’ve also got a great bar with a diverse array of festive drinks; you won’t find a better time of year to try a sparkling cidertini.

After spending the first leg of quarantine closure giving the restaurant a new coat of paint and improving their garden, Westtown Fare reopened over the summer with a fresh look and feel.

Make sure you stick around for one of their delicious desserts like maple creme brule. Or just relax and enjoy a chai latte.

All in all, it's an incredibly charming atmosphere that creates original, fresh and high-quality culinary experiences for everyone who ventures to Westtown for some good eats.
