When you’re traveling around the state of New York, you’ll find that we’re home to quite a few major amusement parks that draw in visitors from all over the country each year. As exciting as it may be to have these outstanding attractions in our own backyard, they can often be bittersweet if your family is full of youngsters that happen to frequently fall below the height requirement for the park’s epic rides. Giving the smallest family members their very own playland paradise, find out why your kids will get a kick out of spending the day at this one miniature amusement park in the Capital Region.
Giving you a warm welcome to New York's State Capital, the city of Albany is where you'll find Huck Finn's Playland.
Huck Finn's Playland may have only opened up back in 2015, but many will recognize that these rides came from the historic Hoffman's Playland that once resided in Latham for over 60 years.
For the biggest thrill, older kids can go for a ride on the Paratrooper, while you can also choose from riding the large Ferris wheel, Tilt-a-Whirl, and The Scrambler too.
No need to worry about working up an appetite, you'll find not one, but two convenience stands where you can get things like drinks, hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, and all that good stuff.
With roughly 20 different rides to enjoy all in this one park, see how wonderfully time flies when you're having fun at Huck Finn's Playland in Albany.
So, how does it work to enjoy Huck Finn's Playland? Anyone can walk into the park for free, but if you plan to enjoy any of the rides you'll need to buy tickets! The majority of the rides at the park will only cost you one ticket, while the bigger attractions will cost you two. You can buy single tickets or a book of tickets, depending on how much fun you plan to have here.
