The Land of Enchantment is full of some of America’s richest history, but there are few places you can see it firsthand. Over a million years ago, a natural force of nature happened, but what’s left behind is truly astounding. This supervolcano preserve is the only of its kind in the state, and it offers so much to do and see.
Have you visited this incredible volcanic preserve? What did you think? We’d love to hear about it in the comments, and don’t forget to share photos from your outdoor adventures with us in our New Mexico Nature Lovers Facebook group, or tag us on Instagram by tagging #onlyinnewmexico for a chance to be featured!
