New Mexico is home to some truly unique festivals. However, one of the most eccentric, exciting, and out-of-this-world is the UFO festival. Hosted in Roswell, New Mexico, the annual UFO Festival is an event that draws thousands of individuals and will take place from July 2, 2021, to July 4, 2021. Regardless of whether you are fascinated with UFOs or you are simply searching for an exciting summer event, this world-famous New Mexico festival is one that you won’t find anywhere else.
The UFO Festival is hosted in the town of Roswell, which is known as the UFO Capital of the World. Roswell is famous around the world as the site of the alleged UFO crash landing in 1947.
This three-day, world-famous festival is packed with events such as live music, awesome speakers, and movie showings. Several events require tickets to attend.
The Roswell UFO Spacewalk is one event that will make you feel like you are out of this world. This Spacewalk is a blacklight alien adventure on a distant planet.
The Abduction Parade, which will be July 2, 2021, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., is a favorite event for many festival attendees. The parade is filled with UFO-themed floats, vehicles, costumes, and more.
Other events at the festival that will keep your body moving include the Alien Open Golf Tournament, a sunrise hike, fluidic space yoga, and more.
Each day during the festival, head to Main Street in Roswell for the Main Street Roswell AlienFest. Here, you will find all types of events from cool photo opportunities to arts and crafts.
If you can’t make it to the UFO Festival in person, that’s not a problem. There are several virtual events you can enjoy including the opening and closing ceremonies.
