I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Some good things truly come in small packages, but in this instance, I’m not talking about a piece of jewelry. With all the small hole-in-the-wall eateries across the Land of Enchantment, you can find some amazing food. One such place is Taqueria Mexicana, a hidden gem restaurant in New Mexico. Located in Albuquerque, this tiny place serves some excellent Mexican dishes that will make you want to keep coming back for more!
Located at 415 Lomas Blvd. NE in Albuquerque is a small, must-visit eatery. Serving some incredible Mexican food, you can grab take-out or dine in at Taqueria Mexicana.
Step up to the window outside and place your order. The menu is quite extensive so you may have trouble deciding! However, the prices are quite affordable so you may be able to order several items.
While many items can be ordered à la carte, you can order a plate for a bigger meal. Lunch plates come with a side of beans and rice while breakfast plates come with a side of toast and hash browns.
And for those who don't feel like dining on Mexican food, there are plenty of burgers and sandwiches on the menu as well. These meals come with fries or onion rings and a medium drink.
