I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Dining can be quite a special experience, especially at a place like The Shed. For more than half a century, this timeless restaurant in New Mexico has been a go-to place for locals and tourists alike. Between its food and its history, everyone enjoys its timeless ambiance.
Located just east of the plaza on Palace Avenue in Santa Fe sits a restaurant that offers a timeless dining experience. The Shed has been owned and operated by the Carswell family since 1953.
Outside the restaurant is a courtyard, while the sizable interior has nine dining rooms. You can feel an air of timelessness the moment you walk through its doors.
And don't forget the margaritas or dessert, for that matter! The Shed is famous for those as well and is just a small part of why people come here time and again.
