If you’re reading this, chances are you already know New Mexico is pretty awesome! This place is truly the Land of Enchantment and it’s always a pleasure to learn when people from other states realize that. Here’s a look at some things people assume when they think of New Mexico.

If there’s any state that is a true icon of the Southwest, New Mexico has to be it. You’ll find plenty of historic buildings all around, many of them made of adobe and decades old.

This might be too far down the list but when we think New Mexican food, green chile and all the delicious meals centered around the pepper dominates our minds. Green chile stew, green chile cheeseburgers, green chile sauce on our enchiladas. That list will probably never end.
Sure, some New Mexicans think this might be a little over-hyped but it brings in tourists and their tourist dollars, so who are we to complain?
There’s nothing quite like watching hot air balloons take over the sky during annual balloon festivals.

This park is home to one of the largest cave chambers in the country, which also happens to be the 28th largest in the world.
We see so many photo submissions of this lovely place on our Instagram, account but we’re not complaining! White Sands is simply breathtaking.
