When out in remote Northern New Mexico, it can be hard to find unique and interesting restaurants to fill your stomach while out on the open road. Luckily, in the small town of Las Vegas, New Mexico there’s a funky restaurant that offers the most unique menu in a quirky atmosphere. There’s nothing like this fun and delicious restaurants for another hundred miles or so, so don’t miss your chance to enjoy this interesting food truck turned brick and mortar restaurant.
Welcome to The Skillet, located in the quaint town of Las Vegas, New Mexico!
This truly unique restaurant used to be a food truck. While you'll still find the old trailer hanging around, The Skillet has upgraded and is now located inside a historic Las Vegas building on 12th Street.
At The Skillet, once you enter you'll find menus to browse before placing your order at the counter for food and non-alcoholic drinks, and then it will be brought straight to your table.
The Skillet's menu is incredibly unique and unlike anything else around. You'll find delicious tacos made with everything from the classics to squash and green chile. Other favorites are fried green chile fries, unique burritos, and taquitos.
