The Taos Lilac Festival is taking place May 17, 18, and 19, 2019 at Kit Carson Park! The whole community of Taos celebrates the beautiful flower that is the lilac.
This fun-filled festival is the perfect community-wide event for the whole family. Kick off the day with a self-guided walking tour to see all of the lilacs in bloom throughout Taos. Lilacs bloom in New Mexico in May and peak the last two weeks of the month. This festival is the perfect time to see the gorgeous flower in bloom.
Besides beautiful lilacs, the festival is home to many local vendors including an entire garden center where you can purchase lilacs, as well as the supplies to grow your own.
