What is there to do at Red River Ski & Summer Area?
Red River may be known for its epic ski slopes, but the park is also a world-class summer destination. Some of the best warm-weather activities at Red River Ski & Summer Area include a ropes course, zip line, mini golf and disc golf, hiking, scenic chairlift rides, and - of course - mountain tubing. In the winter, there’s no better place in New Mexico to ski, snowboard, or snow tube. No matter when you visit, the fun never stops at Red River! It’s family-friendly, as well, boasting plenty for all ages to do.
Where can I find the best NM tubing hills?
When it comes to NM tubing hills, it’s hard to beat the one at Angel Fire Resort. The hill has four side-by-side lanes, making it perfect for friendly competition. Open daily from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. during the winter season, the snow tubing hill costs $40 per rider per hour. Other winter activities at the resort include skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. You can also visit Angel Fire in the summer for mountain biking, zip lining, scenic chairlift rides, golf and disc golf, hiking, tennis, pickleball, and several other family-friendly activities.
