Scattered across the Land of Enchantment are some pretty incredible attractions. One of these attractions, located in Churchrock, is a park with outstanding beauty, hiking, a museum, a campground, and so much more. Red Rock Park is the best park in New Mexico and surprisingly, many New Mexicans have never visited and enjoyed all that it has to offer.
The minute you drive up to this park, you’ll be impressed with its beauty. This park is covered with impressive red cliffs and some awe-inspiring scenery.
The trails are popular among hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers. Give yourself plenty of time to explore as you will certainly see some remarkable sights.
The Red Rock Museum is one area of this park that you will not want to miss. You’ll learn about the lives and culture of the Anasazi, Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo tribes. The museum is filled with all types of rugs, pottery, jewelry, and Native American art.
There are two campgrounds at Red Rock Park. Both campgrounds feature picnic areas, bathrooms, showers, electricity, and water hookups.
You may want to visit Red Rock Park during one of the many events held at the park. In December, for example, dozens of hot air balloons lift off as part of the Red Rock Balloon Festival.
