Just north of Albuquerque, you’ll find some of New Mexico’s richest history as you enter the Santa Ana Pueblo and find ancient adobe walls that are over a foot thick. Inside these charming pieces of history is an elegant restaurant that needs to be seen to believed. With an incredible backdrop of the Sandia Mountains, specialty wine, and masterfully crafted dishes that use only the best ingredients, this incredible restaurant near Bernalillo is about to top your list.
Welcome to Prairie Star Restaurant & Wine Bar on the Santa Ana Pueblo near Bernalillo!
Prairie Star Restaurant has repurposed a 90-year-old historic pueblo. Despite being restored, all of the old architecture, including the 18-inch thick walls has been preserved to keep this New Mexico treasure alive.
This casual fine dining establishment creates contemporary dishes made from locally sourced ingredients and the menu changes seasonally to only use the freshest ingredients available.
Prairie Star is also a wine bar, which features a 32-handle Cruvinet. There are never reservations needed for the wine bar and patio, and there's a bar menu available as well as the full dinner menu.
