Many a person has started a glass collection, but if you want to see one that is truly impressive, The Patio Restaurant’s can’t be missed!
The Patio Restaurant is in Hurley, New Mexico, just west of Gila National Forest and next to the Whitewater Reservoir. The red brick building is right next to Town Hall.
The collection is mostly inside, but the covered patio is pretty impressive on its own. The firewood stacks, fans, lights, plants, and rooster statue keep the place feeling pretty dang cozy. The colorful spot also has big bags of red chiles hanging from the ceiling, just waiting to be made into magic in the kitchen! Plus, there's a nice peach tree and a fountain.
Inside you’ll see a giant collection of commemorative glasses, shotglasses, empty bottles, full bottles, vintage bottles of every brand you can imagine and so, so many more.
The menu truly has a little bit of everything. From omelets to biscuits and gravy to Huevos Rancheros, they’ve got it all for breakfast. There are some salads, steaks, fish, sandwiches, burgers, and a robust Mexican food selection including smothered burritos, carne adobada, plus tacos and enchiladas.
The Patio Restaurant is known for having specialty nights like Bourbon Street chicken night. Other House Specials include fish baskets, steak night, or Cajun Chicken and sausage Pasta. The Restaurant serves wine and beer and even has a little shop if you need to take home some hatch chiles!
