The owner, Lino Pertusini, is from Lake Como, Italy, and has been given the title, "Cavaliere" which is an order of Italian knighthood to spread the culture of Italy through world-class cuisine. In fact, Osteria d'Assisi has since been certified by Ciao Italia for its commitment to spread gourmet Italian culinary traditions.

This authentic restaurant was named after the Italian town the patron Saint of Santa Fe named Saint Francis was born. It's only fitting that this authentic gem is situated in historic Santa Fe.

Osteria d'Assisi is nestled in an old renovated historic house, making for the perfect atmosphere. Being part piano bar, there's no other place for an atmosphere quite like this.
We're not kidding when we say this food is authentic. Osteria d'Assisi uses only the finest ingredients and often utilizes the Mediterranean method of preparing Italian food with olive oil.
From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh baked bread will take you over, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether it be brunch, lunch, or dinner, the staff is there to make this the best dining experience possible.
