I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Most businesses these days have a website. However, it may be unnecessary for some places that have been around for decades. Why spend time and money on a website when you have such a loyal following and provide delicious cuisine that keeps happy customers coming back for more? Well, we found one humble restaurant in New Mexico that does not have a website and it’s old-fashioned in all the right ways.
Are you looking for an eatery that specializes in Sonoran cuisine? Well, look no further than Ramona's Cafe in Lordsburg, New Mexico.
In a town with just 2,200 residents, Ramona's is a fantastic spot for locals but quite a hidden gem for those who live elsewhere in the state. But it's definitely worth the drive to get here.
Ramona's is so humble, so old-fashioned that it doesn't even have a website. But what it does have is delicious food that brings satisfied customers back here time and again.
Breakfast dishes include Spanish or Western omelets, a variety of egg dishes, skillets, or your choice of hot cakes. Pair it with a side of bacon, sausage, or hash browns to start your day.
As for lunch and dinner options, how about jalapeño poppers or a fajita salad to start? Follow that with a burger, sandwich, tacos, burrito, enchiladas, and more. You can also check what specials are available.
Have you ever dined at this humble restaurant in New Mexico? If so, what did you order? Let us know in the comments. For more information, visit the Ramona Cafe’s Facebook page.
