Are you looking for a restaurant in the Land of Enchantment where you can enjoy a perfectly New Mexican meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner? Look no further because you’ll definitely want to dine at this picturesque restaurant in the Las Cruces area.
Welcome to charming and historic La Posta de Mesilla, a former stagecoach stop turned iconic New Mexican restaurant.
The best part of the food at La Posta is everything is lovingly made from scratch, just as New Mexican food should! Occasionally, you'll find social media posts from the restaurant showing the process. For example, this photo features the posole just getting started for the day.
The menu features plenty of New Mexican favorites, like chile rellenos, burritos served Christmas-style, and massive chimichangas.
La Posta has a long menu of margaritas served frozen or on the rocks. Pictured here is the fuchsia prickly pear margarita that is as thirst-quenching as it is dazzling.

And, of course, be sure to finish your meal with a basket of fluffy sopaipillas drizzled with honey.
The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, and for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. You can find details about the restaurant’s menus, hours, specials, and more by visiting their website or Facebook page.
