Feeling like taking a brief stroll down memory lane? If you were around in the Land of Enchantment in the 1960s and 70s, some of these photos just might take you back in time.
Somewhere near the Arizona-New Mexico border in 1965, this Navajo boy herded sheep while on horseback.
When it comes to architecture, New Mexico is known for its stately pueblos and sustainable architecture in the form of Earthships. The first one was built in the early 1970s Taos. This particular one utilized beer cans to construct the walls.
Meanwhile, this kiddo looks like he had fun running up and down the dunes back when the park was known as White Sands National Monument. Check out the fringe on his jacket!
