Red River is a little mountain town known for its superb slopes and splendid trails but did you know it is also home to an old-timey restaurant with pancakes bigger than your head?
Humble and rustic, the aptly named Old Tymers Cafe sits right along the main street in Red River. It's a charming little place both outside...
Fluffy, perfectly brown, and practically falling off the plate, this is a meal capable of satisfying any voracious tummy. You can opt for a plain ol' buttermilk pancake or make things a little fancier with blueberry, chocolate chip, or multigrain.
The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch Thursday through Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed on Wednesdays. For details, visit their Facebook page.
