The countdown to Christmas has already begun! If you’re on the lookout for ways to get into the holiday mood and make your spirit bright, then you’ll want to check out one of these festive Christmas parades here in New Mexico.
Check out how this city turns into a glittering wonderland when you stop by for this parade on Main Street. After the 6 p.m. parade, you'll also have a chance to shop in the local boutiques and even meet Santa.
The magic begins at 6 p.m. when the parade runs from Sedillo Park to the Historic Plaza. Kids will have a chance to meet Santa and obtain some goodies along the way.
Aside from the entire town glimmering with lights, this annual parade is one of Madrid's highlights. It begins at The Mine Shaft Tavern at 4 p.m. and runs to the ballpark. Don't forget to grab a drink and lunch at the tavern while you're here!
Get ready for a grand ol' time when you check out this evening parade in Los Alamos. Part of a weekend-long winter celebration, the parade begins at 6 p.m. and ends with the annual lighting of the tree.
Over in Nob Hill, this annual light parade features plenty of floats you'll find only in New Mexico, plus marching bands, and a chance for a meet and greet with Santa.
