The wife commissioned architect John Gaw Meem to turn this ranch into something new in 1932.
Numerous artists, craftsmen, and gardeners turned the ranch into a beautiful new place to hold community events. This new center was deemed the La Quinta Cultural Center and it still holds art from the beginning.
