This short hike in Santa Fe National Forest offers a simple yet unique hike that’s perfect for kids and adults alike. At the end, you’ll find a beautiful waterfall to spend the afternoon at, and the area is small enough that the kids can explore while you take in the awesome views.
Jemez Falls Trail is an easy, unique hike for the whole family. If you've been looking for the perfect day trip, this is it.
At just under 1-mile long, this hike won't take too much time, but there's so much to see. Your kids will be fascinated by the surrounding forests and rock formations.
Though most of the trail is solid dirt, there are many rocks and different routes, so it can be as easy or difficult as you like. Feel free to take the easy route as your kids climb upon the rocks.
From there, you can climb down to the bottom of the falls, or the kids can wade in a small pool at the top. No matter which way you choose to go, this hike offers endless views and fun for people of all hiking abilities.
