The small city of Gallup is one with a history that’s deep-rooted in Native American culture. With several tribes including Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo, among others, as well as archaeological sites that date back to the Anasazi, Gallup is known as the “Indian Capital of the World.” A huge part of the city’s population is of Native American descent as well and to celebrate, the 101st Annual Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial in New Mexico will be held this August. It’s an incredible celebration to be a part of and witness, so save the dates for this remarkable event.

From August 4 through August 13, 2023, the 101st Annual Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial will be held. This cultural event started in 1922 and has been going strong ever since.
