With five different dining rooms, this place is immense! It seats more than 300 people, which is good because it's always packed on the weekends. Each dining room is decorated differently, and you could spend hours looking at al the art work on the walls.
John Wayne makes a feature appearance here. You'll find images of The Duke scattered throughout the restaurant - the owners are big fans. You'll also see lots of art work by local artists.
Start your morning off right with breakfast at Frontier Restaurant. You'll love the breakfast burritos, and they also have standard American breakfasts with bacon, eggs, and even pancakes.
College students and Albuquerque residents from all walks of life flock to Frontier for its famous sweet rolls. When you need a sweet treat, this pastry hits the spot.
The Frontier Burrito is the signature item on the menu, and it's absolutely delicious. It's stuffed full of beef, beans, and green chile, then smothered with green chile sauce and topped with cheese. Served alongside rice, this monster will fill you up.
You also can't go wrong with the chicken, beef, or cheese enchiladas, and if you're having trouble deciding, you should get the combo plate with one enchilada, one taco, rice and beans.
If you'd like to share an order with friends, try the chicken nachos. They're piled high with chicken, beans, chips, cheese, jalapeño, lettuce, and tomato.
